Sorry if already been discussed but who do you guys think should replace Albert Kelly next season?
With Connor’s impressive performances at full back and IMO it is his best position I would like to see us make a move for an out and out 6 to compliment Sneyd.
Has anyone heard or seen any rumours of anyone we could potentially be looking at?
Was thinking this last night . With a (fully fit) Kelly in that team, we could be very dangerous. That said , we looked nicely balanced with Carlos at stand off. Connor at full back is a must. Been saying it for two years.
Moneys going to be tight. Do we look at bringing someone in or go with what we have? Or any recruitment goes to other areas (another forward?).

Not heard and rumours but would like to think we are looking for a quality replacement. Also I'd like to see another forward to cover departures although Bowden and Fash have stepped up to the mark in recent weeks. Finances allowing of course.

If, as we all assume, Jones is going and hadn't been so eager to give Shaul a new deal we would have had the money for a quality player in any position.

Just wish we could keep Ratu to be honest!
Carlos is wasted at six and we also miss his defence at centre A running half has to be a priority for next season. Like Albo Ratu will be a huge miss next season. We just have to hope he hates standing around with nothing to do on the wing at Bristol and decides R/L is his game and asks Hull if he can come back.

So no money worries this year or next.
Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?
This sums up everything about the club for too long, immediately looking outside the clubs youth system for pivotal roles. We haven't had a proper 6 since Rich Horne though Tommy Lee came along as a half but was shifted to back up hooker. Basically 20 years since we gave a home grown half a proper run. Are we so incapable of developing these players and give them a chance to progress? I really don't see carlos as a 6 despite him playing there at a junior level, and neither is Connor, we're forcing a scenario on the back of continually recruiting/squeezing too many of same players into a squad, this is why we have no home grown wingers or centres either.
As above, keeping Shaul has restricted things but he's not the bigger problem, poor/wrong recruitment in the first instance over many years and a failure to develop from within is why we continually seem to be on the back foot regards cap space. There were just four Hull developed players in the team against Warrington

I like McNamara, looks a real prospect but think he is a 7 rather than a 6. Problem I think we have is we need a top quality player at stand off, would he happy developing a younger player in that position if we are happy with a mid-table finish but the aim has to be top 4.
