It really is chalk and cheese the difference in other clubs movement off the ball, speed of play and real pace running onto the ball. Compare that to what we are served up. We just bunch in midfield,Players taking the ball stood still which has little effect on a defence, hardly anyone who can throw an accurate long pass and an attack that is devoid of ideas and dummy runners. My opinion of Last as a coach is quite clear. If he cant see these deficiencies then he really needs to look at other employment outside of R/L because we are way behind other teams at the moment from a coaching aspect and to be honest i cant see where we will get a win as even Rovers style will cause us too many problems for us to get a win.

But there was all the chat saying things were going to change, and nothing has, as I said before, i don't blame Last, he simply doesn't have the skillset, much like the previous coach. It's depressing for fans to watch what we did in our first game back when what was said hinted at different, it wasn't different in the slightest.

How would half the squad unknowingly having coronavirus affect on-field performance? I ask this as I'm aware that you know everything about everything (epidemiology, sports science, physiology, man-mannagement, statistics, psychology, road safety, race relations, embroidery, etc etc).

Not really i am been realistic I havnt even mentioned that we shipped over 50 points. My point is its clear to see that our style of play and set up on the field is miles behind every other team i have seen on TV. Now if Last had anything about him we would have seen faster play the balls, players in motion and running onto the ball instead we saw the same old style, bunching in the middle of the park and players too slow to catch a cold. You dont need to be a coach to see the deficiencies.

Thanks in advance.
Would we settle for him starting a 'Last out petition' if it meant we were going to go on and win two pieces of silverware in our next two seasons? Think most would say an unequivocal 'yes'.

or Denton Rovers!

Quote:I started a petition to get rid of Lee Radford and to change what was going on at the club. I even got a mention (of sorts) in the club programme apparently. This was in response to Radford taking a team on the up and CC final to our near relegation a year later. Fortunately Pearson actually dipped into his pocket and we made some signings and changes, I was ripped to shreds by most but my thoughts on Radford still stand and what I wrote was not untrue and it's massively affecting the club/team and how we will go for the next 5 years and more, last year was another example of having hardly any youngsters with quality/experience to take up the slack because of poor coaching/running of the club.
Many people at the time I started the petition were angry and frustrated with Radford and how we were performing, certainly I was and I wanted to vent, this was my outlet and I just wanted to let the club know how I felt. I didn't get many signatures but that wasn't the point for me, that the club got my message, what I wanted to say was what was important. That 2016 season literally turned on the comeback against KR at their ground, it was literally or bust and Radford got lucky with injuries all season and a salary cap busting squad (we had to massively backload contract payments)
people slagging this off (you know who you are), or saying its pointless need to have a good hard look at yourselves!

There was zero hint whatsoever that there were any physical performance issues, or do you know something that everybody at the club doesn't? In any case the actual tactics were the same, this is nothing to do with physical performance/energy levels is it? The noises coming out the club did not match what went on, on the field did it, not even close, it was precisely the same, stop making excuses for a terrible performance and no change in tactics.
