Before my time but a prolific goal kicking full-back kicking on average just over 4 goals in every single game he played, which is more than any other goal kicker in the clubs history! His goal kicking prowess means he is one of ten (I think) FC players to score over a 1,000 points despite only 5 tries, he's less than a dozen points ahead of Marc Sneyd who is 10th on the thousand point 'club' list. Won a championship medal as fullback in the glorious 1958 team.

Was at Peter's first game at the Boulevard in 1957 when he kicked 7 goals in the defeat of Leeds. As stated above his average for goals kicked /game was phenomenal (marginally under 4/game). Other prolific full-back goal kickers such as Joe Oliver, Col Hutton and Fred Miller kicked more goals than Peter(542) but the best average/game of those 3 was only around 2.5.
He also jointly holds the club record for 5 times kicking 10 goals in a match. Was there in 1958 to see him win his league champions medal.
Thanks for the many memories of the 1950's Peter and RIP.
