Anyone venturing down to the park this Sunday? Admission is £10 adult and £5 concessions. Looks like it will be another young team put out but maybe a chance for a few fringe players again to get a run out. London look like fielding a very young team this season so could be closer to full strength a bit like Halifax were.
We are probably going to see a stronger team out for a run in the Batley game

… HDM reckon "Adam Swift, Carlos Tuimavave, Josh Bowden, Marc Sneyd and Scott Taylor all look likely to be in action at Brantingham Park against the Broncos."
Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?

Looks like a lot of our main players will be going into the new season with not a lot of game time under their belts. Let's hope it doesn't result in a slow start to the season

Yeh really don’t like it, should of been as close to full strength as we can be in all 3 imo

I agree. I would have liked the proposed first 17 to have at least two preseason games together Have to hope Radford knows what he is doing. Still think we are one front row short. In hindsight may have been better to keep Chris Green if we had the cap available.

I said i would have liked to see that. Most other teams will probably not have six new players in their starting 17 You have to consider that the majority of our first team forwards are new and have never played together and you also need to have Kelly,Connor and Shaul aware of how they play and offload in real game time. Not sure 30 minutes on the field against Batley is the best preparation. As i said lets hope Radford gets it right because we have a difficult start.
