Looks like a great buy after watching him in the 9s for Samoa at the weekend! Great speed for a big guy, a few tackle busts and he scored a cracking try as well! Looking forward to seeing him play!
On the NZ Warrior forum over the weekend one of their fans said that if Sao is going to a club where the coach will allow him to play his natural offloading game then he will love his time over here.

I’ve no doubt we will play that way for the first 3/4 games, it’s when we have a bad game or to many errors occur, that’s when we will revert back to the usual! Hopefully with the new attack coach coming in, that won’t happen

He'll go well I fancy...people as per finding issues not there
Prior to the collapse we were high up in the points scored categories Scored a number of decent tries...griffin vs cat's n Kelly v Cas both probably in try of the year contention Carlos and faraimo both in the league's top offloaders...prior to them fonua n watts always among leagues highest Connor n Kelly both high end for errors. Which was a massive feature of our troubles. Trying to score instead of build or play catch up when no need. People endlessly saying "we're boring,we just take 5 drives and kick" what do you watch? I spent more time last year wishing we did do that than we actually did. Our issue was having enough in the 20 which was a number of things but having generally players who can bust offload and just generally more dangerous will sort a lot of that

Guess no one is allowed an opinion different to yours/Barista's otherwise it's moaning then.
Anyway not seen anything of Sao to form an opinion either way yet.
I wouldn’t worry about it, those mentioned would still be positive if we got hammered 50 nil every week. We need to find some intensity consistently and this squad should go well, with the new attack coach, I’m looking forward to the new season.

I completely agree with you. Looking forward to the new season with renewed optimism, can't wait to see our new signings in action and to see if there is a change in our style of play.
