Just to be clear, when you say you have players that qualify under the marquee rule, do you have marquee players? We’ve got marquee players who qualify under the marquee rule, we’re not saying any more than that, but that’s what we’ve got. We’ve got an extremely high wage bill so from my point of view we have 24 marquee players.
Where is the club at in terms of the salary cap? We’ve over the salary cap.
There you go Barista. Is that proof enough for you, direct from Mr. Pearson himself. No need to try again this time , just give up trying to be smart I'll stand by my information
It would appear we are employing this rule. Is it a boom or bust attempt at competing or now just a necessary evil to stay in contention for trophies. Massively hope this works in terms of winning silverware, increasing investment and in terms of increasing our fan base. It would appear Adam has invested heavily in our squad, as most of us knew he had. I thank him for that and hope it pays off
Thought I'd give this a topic of it's own and not bog down the original thread this was posted on, as it was not connected.

As a Robin my default position is to pick fault with what happens across the river. However, on this occasion I can do nothing but praise Pearson. To publish a 300k loss but still commit to an increase of 500k on your expenditure in 2020 is ambitious and should be applauded. Utilising the marquee ruling and being legitimately 200k over Cap due to dispensations must put you right alongside Saints, Wire and Wigan in your spending. Don't get me wrong, I hope it all goes wrong for you but your Chairman must be respected for going all in.

Indeed. It could be interpreted that we pay some players enough to qualify for using the marquee rule but are over due to RU and/or homegrown exemptions for example.
