Great memories of Gary Kemble there Wilf. It was an absolute privilege for those of us who got to see him in the flesh playing for our club. Watching him take a ball on the full, either by soaring above everyone other player or diving/sliding across the turf before it bounced will stick in my mind forever. Great, great player.
great diary wilf, once again I seem to have the same feelings about the loss on Saturday I am not totally devastated by it, and I cant explain it? will be an incredible performance if we can win on Thursday given the short turnaround etc. yes what great player Kemble was, and as you say second only to Arthur keegan.
