So, the RFL have published a list of overseas players and non-federation trained players at each club. Each club can have a max of 5 overseas and 7 NFT players (EU passport and Kolpak generally). hull's list is here:
Hull FC
Overseas Players – 5: Bureta Faraimo, Albert Kelly, Sika Manu, Mickey Paea, Carlos Tuimavave
NFT Players – 6: Bureta Faraimo, Albert Kelly, Sika Manu, Mark Minichiello, Ratu Naulogo (Board Exemption – *New Talent Pool), Mickey Paea, Carlos Tuimavave
I'm fluent in bureaucrat so it sort of makes sense to me.
One bit if weirdness is that if you sign a 21 year old who has never played before then he is Fed Trained but he becomes non-Fed trained at 22. That never happens but it still makes me think they've not thought this through.

How are we able to bring in Ma'u, Fonua and if the rumours are true Sao. That would mean three of our overseas five are leaving. Unless Ma'u and Fonua have Tongan passports despite being born in NZ and Aus respectively.
