Seems we’re playing at Hullensians on Saturday, as I’m not going to the capital this weekend, will be able to take a walk to Springhead Lane. Anyone know if this will be our ground for the reserves now. Can’t see anything from the club.
They said they would be moving around a bit to give more people the chance to see games, if that makes sense.
Quote:Future reserve games will be held at a number of venues across the city to make the games as accessible as possible, subject to availability and the fixture schedule.
Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?
It's a good move to take the reserve matches to different venues to allow more people an opportunity to watch them. Why boost the coffers of a rugby union club though?
I'm sure that Wests, Hull Wyke, Skirlaugh, Myton etc would love the opportunity to host the games, boost their coffers over the bar etc and give their junior sections a chance to support it. Should be looking after our own.

“R.B.A” you are quite correct, our amateur rl teams should benefit from the pro game, but don’t we already play at Brantingham home of another Union side, as fans we can only vote with our feet, it is ultimately AP and the club who decides our venue. But rest assured the RFU will not profit from my attendance on Saturday, as my grandson at three will suffice an ice cream, I will make do with my old Holborn, and the whippet will be happy to drink the puddles on the walk there.
