Given Warrington have dispensation approved for losing Brown for the season then surely we must be able to claim it for Dawson as its only two games into the season. Not sure if its enough to add a decent front row but surely enough to sign Ratu

Well they've asked all the same and had it refused. AS you say played a game so no chance! With the Scott Taylor farce which actually sees sensible Rovers and Cas fans coming on here to sympathise with us, it's not a good week for the FC so far!!!!

The only way any dispensation should be granted is if the said player will not play any part in the season. If Gale or Brown play during this season at any point it makes a farce of the system. As there is no difference to me to having not played a game before injury to then make it back take part in the same season for one game or playing one game and being ruled out for the rest of the season? Maybe we should have said Green and Bowden got new injuries in pre season training then so at least we could sign a replacement until they make it back?
However my view is whether you suffer an injury preseason or one game in you should not get any dispensation that way everyone knows the rules and its unfortunate but that's why clubs have rosters not just 19 players.
The sport maybe in to a new season but the same crap eminates and stinks the game out. Taylors suspension of 3 games is one of the biggest jokes of all time and on a par as big a joke as the lenient way O'Loughlin was dealt with and only getting a 1 game ban for taking Annakins head off in 2016 funnily enough which was also graded C?? Go figure.

dont profess to be sensible, but the scott taylor ban is farcical considering austin got off scott free for contact to head with knees which can be clearly seen at a certain angle,it just seems strange how the 2 hull clubs dont get anything off these panels ,certainly taylors incident didnt even warrant a caution never mind a 3 game ban

Interestingly enough if Taylors offence was deemed to be so bad to warrant such a ban then why if the referee not culpable for the fact he took no action at the time other than putting something on report which in my mind was more Carlos pulling McShanes leg than anything Taylor did.
Something is very wrong when even the Rovers fans and fans of the opposition come out and say its a joke.

The cap is live. Unless something major has changed and they haven’t announced it, which seems unlik... oh yeah, club-trained players.
But if nothing has changed, you can just deregister him surely?
