I predict 5 drives and a kick to the corner. In all seriousness I'm not optimistic about a victory either nor do I think Rovers will treat it like a cup victory such is the level playing field in our current respective playing squad and throwing in our losing streak. I'd like to see real fire in our bellies but think Rovers by 2 scores. 26-16. Hoping I'm hugely wrong though as predictions aren't my forte.

Well I am going to buck the trend and say I think we will edge it. I think the quality across the 17s will be pretty similar, but I am expecting us to show a lot of commitment and desperation given what happened last year.
16-22 to Hull.
If either Kelly or Connor somehow are available then add another try to our score.

I’ve backed Hull to win but wanted 10 start Derbies are usually close The last Derby was where Lee Radford said Hull FC would put on a display for the FC fans
We will see how we’re travelling in this match and if we can’t get up for this then there is something seriously wrong If we lose but lose in a bad way then I’d be really worried I really don’t mind if we lose a classic blood and guts match We should play like this is a State of Origin

Sadly I can only see defeat here. If Rovers are smart they'll get the ball out wide quickly at every opportunity and that will be our undoing. Just hope we don't get rolled to easily as that would be very deflating.

Tense and low-ish scoring with no more than 7 points in it.
The team that best capitalises on the other’s errors to win.

Wow. I knew there was a feeling of negativity on here but I didn't realise quite how bad it was?
Do you guys genuinely think we are that bad or that Rovers have the firepower to really give us a thrashing? Or are you just being purposely negative so that it doesn't bother you as much if it does happen?

Our gamebreaker players are missing, and we don't play a brand of rugby that puts us in a position to score tries. Barge overs, or a Shaul length of field break may be our options on Friday
