I guess there’s one or two more, such as Connor Wynne (sp?), who’ll get a number if and when they play for the first team, but who are part of the wider squad to cover reserves commitments initially.

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?
There isn't really much quality after the first choice 17 which pretty much picks itself. Pick up a few injuries and we're back in the same boat we were in for 2018
If your first choice 17 are 1-17, that leaves Masimbaashe Matongo, Brad Fash, Sika Manu, Jordan Lane, Mickey Paea, Lewis Bienek, Hakim Miloudi, Jez Litten, Danny Washbrook and others.
Not what I would call a weak 2nd string, but it obviously all depends on how many injuries we get, and more importantly, who gets them. And that's nothing new.

thompson and dawson are 16 and 17 so hardly in our strongest team. We have 17 proper first teamers then a load of youngsters and players not really good enough
