James Rule, the Widnes chief executive, said the club would remain full-time in the Championship, adding: ‚“We simply wish to apologise for the experiences of the past two seasons, where results have fallen far below our expectations.â€

Unlikely but not impossible.
They couldn't implode more spectacularly than the did in 2016, could they? :)
