Sneyd has a different knee problem now and they are assessing it but doubt we'll see him again this year meaning we have abdul and harris for the last 5 games. Hopefully he doesn't need to go under the knife which could also see him doubtful for the start of next season.
connor, bowden, kelly, minichello and westerman all gone for the season.
Anyone know the situation with matongo, fash and hadley?
Taylor playing busted along with a few others no doubt.
radford alluded to something about us not being as resilient as other teams? Anyone know what he means? Surely if there are ways of making your players more resilient to injuries we should be doing them as a matter of course? We do seem to have really suffered with knee and lower leg injuries this year so maybe something in that?
Worst season for injuries since 2004 and maybe even worse than that year when we were flying high before the injury curse struck us
I thought Bowden also would miss the start of next season? Even with Bowden and Green fit our pack lacks a prop of Watts' quality. And with Taylor potentially retaining his international place and Hadley, Fash, Matongoin the PNG tour train on squad and therefore without a rest/full pre season, it's hard to imagine a season where our forwards get off to a flying start. Chuck in the doubts over Kelly's head injury and it could be a long old off season.
