Did anyone else think it had gone over? I had a good view from behind in the east stand and it looked good to me

Lots of us did but until i watch it back (just got home) I can't say for sure. thought one of Gale's conversions went wide second half that was given but don't care tbh.

I thought it went over but can't be sure and TV doesn't help. To be fair, ref had best view of anyone. Post height is a slight flaw in drop goals as they are quite often over the height making it more difficult

Actually, as someone on the cas forum pointed out, his first kick hit a Hull player on the back who was in front of him so it should have been a turnover for accidental offside

Exactly right and its not the first time they have caused unnecessary controversy. How hard is it to get decent sized posts?

They are decent sized, within RFL rules.

Short and narrow pitches can be within RFL rules - doesn't mean they bring out the best in the game. For a SL club aiming to be among the very best a deficient ground feature that can be easily fixed doesn't make much sense.
