So what do we expect? A massively weak team or maybe a better one than we think with 2 or 3 returning from injury? I think if players are near fit then we need to risk them as we're desperate for the points (even a point would be massive for us IMO).

salford the week after looking like a dead rubber so risk them this week then rest whoever needs it in time for the cup game.

Having said that, our record against wigan at the KC in recent years is pretty abysmal I think and with them bringing a few back I think they'll win the game fairly comfortably.

One thing's for certain though, if you're on a losing streak your game against Hull FC can't come round soon enough

Struggling to see a win here if we have as many out as we are expecting. The squad will get announced later today but if recent weeks are anything to go by it wont tell us anything. If we can somehow find a win we will still be in a healthy enough position, with a decent lead over Wigan and probably back ahead of Wakefield, but its a big ask with so many out. Lets see what team is available.

Agree about Michaels to centre he's played there before. Masi defo in imo and still hope Ellis binman in the 17. Gonna be tough . Also what's up with Thompson ?

Thompson been ill, Michaels is probably better in Centre doesn't have the pace for the wing. Played there against Warrington last season on Easter Monday.

Think this game will be just one too many for both teams and for us in particular after having the trip to and from France and such a physical game there. The loss of Watts & Griffin won't help either and annoying as don't think Griffin was deserving a ban as there was no push or malice and a caution & fine would have been more than enough. That just shows the division between officials and the game as if they are literally gods, FFS he touched him on the shoulder once.
As for the Watts ban, didnt expect anything else from the RFL but still find it amazing how O'Loughlin does the self same offence and doesnt see red or recieve a ban.

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

I can't agree Re. Griffin. You simply don't touch the referees, in fact, if you're not the captain you shouldn't be speaking to a referee about a decision. It's an element creeping into our game that I don't like at all.

The standard of refereeing is dreadful though, but that's a different topic.

Wigan Warriors have today named the 19-man squad for Saturday’s Betfred Super League clash with Hull FC.
Liam Forsyth (concussion) and Joel Tomkins (groin) return from injury having missed Monday’s home defeat to Wakefield Trinity. Gabe Fell also comes in as cover for Tom Davies should the wingman fail to recover from a knock.

The trio replace Nick Gregson, Romain Navarrete and James Worthington in the squad.

Meanwhile Joe Burgess (knee) retains his place in the 19 despite having also missed out on Monday.

Wigan Warriors 19-Man Squad
Joe Burgess, Tom Davies, Liam Farrell, Gabe Fell, Callum Field, Liam Forsyth, Willie Isa, Thomas Leuluai, Liam Marshall, Michael Mcilorum, Frank-Paul Nuuausala, Sean O’Loughlin, Sam Powell, Ryan Sutton, Taulima Tautai, Lewis Tierney, Joel Tomkins, Jack Wells & George Williams
