Going to my first trip to Catalans away since 2006 (and that wasn't in Perpignan). Just booked a hotel near the train station.

Any recommendations on places to drink before/after the game? We arrive at about 3pm.

Also, it says that it kicks off at 5pm on the Sky Sports website (but the programme starts at 6:30). Not sure if this is a typo or if there's confusion with local times, but wouldn't mind a bit of confirmation on the times also if possible!

There's the Castile bar (apologies if spelt wrong) very friendly and full of RL shirts.

If you're staying near the station and for more than one night definitely recommend going on the train to Collioure - only 20 minutes, breakfast at beachside restaurant.

We're staying in Barcelona for the weekend, then Perpignan for the Monday night before moving on to Salou for the rest of the week. Just wanted to get the rugby in during our holiday!

Do fans tend to get to the ground early and drink near there? Or drink in the town centre? And what's best way to get to the ground from the station?

I don't recall any bars around the ground, but we hadn't ventured far from the centre. It's France, buses everywhere. The last two times ours was like a FC fans bus!
