Excellent performance. Wish I'd been there. This is down the road for me. Will make a point of seeing some of the U-23s games in Lancashire. FC & Proud.
Does anybody who watches them regularly believe they are players, excluding the likes of Hadley, Abdull, who could step up to the 1st team next season?

I've seen them a few times and although maybe not ready yet, there are a few to watch out for, two great wingers in Adlard and Lancaster ( who we know about, Adlard is going FT next year.)
I really like Jordan Lane, really good backrower, spent most of last season injured. Two big props Masi and Osborne could step up.
A youngster who can still play 19's for a couple of years to watch out for is Bobby Downs.
I still think HTW will make it and hope we keep him, Litten who is with England has a chance of making his debut next year.

adkard isn't very big and wouldn't make it at SL level unless he beefs up a bit IMO. Same with lancaster although both are rapid. I'm surprised turgut hasn't been given a chance when we've had injuries this year

Turgut had been close, I heard Pearson tell him that before a game, in fact he should have played against Leeds instead of Downs, but he missed the reserves game the week before as he thought it kicked off later in the day!!
Agree about the wingers, Lancaster has bulked up a bit this year, I've heard that Radford doesn't think he will make it, reckon Adlard has been given a full time contract to build himself up.
