Last night I actually expected us to win away at Wigan, just let that sink in for a minute...
Ok I'm going to regret saying this but I honestly think this squad is the best we have had since the classic championship winning squad of 1983. The Polynesian brotherhood reminds me of the quartet of Kiwis we had in those halcyon days. The team spirit and connection the team has with the crowd is just a joy to behold and to see a FC side full of attacking ideas and off loading like the classic Saints side of a few years back makes me want to pinch myself, it almost makes me feel like what I am witnessing unfold each week is a day dream. We just get better with each progressive round.
However, as an FC fan I've seen many a false dawn, the difference this year is I am gradually starting to believe that WE are the form team, WE are the side with the momentum and We have the best chance in a generation of taking this all the way to Wembley and Old Trafford. This is our year to finally get our hands on some silverware, beyond that we have a squad now to maintain a competitive top four position for many years to come.
2016 is going to be a season we will talk about for years as the one when the sleeping giant finally stepped up to the mark.
So back to my question, do you believe?

We still need to tidy up certain aspects of our game. Having said that i love our free flowing game and it does bring back memories of the early 80`s. Got Leicester written all over it......
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and proudly proclaiming `Wow, what a ride`
We have a very decent chance of silverware imo, what is good to see is morale within the squad, they believe in eachother which puts us in a good place, they just need to take it a game at a time, although the players/staff will have goals, radders will keep them grounded & focuses on daily/weekly targets, he has them playing for eachother & the badge, which is one thing I like, exciting times for everyone involved.
We're playing well and the confidence and belief is great. In order for us to be in with any chance of winning the comp we need sneyd and houghton to stay fit and pryce to play plenty of games between now and the end of the season and for us to have key men like ellis, taylor and watts available. I do fancy us for another trip to wembley this year.
Best aspect for me is that for the first time in a long while I'm going to games because I'm enjoying them, not out of a sense of loyalty

Sorry but I must have missed the year that we won the Super League.

We're in a good run of form for sure, and in the 3 of 11 return fixtures played l we've seen off Wigan and Catalans, which is impressive. Biggest game for me is the Catalans cup tie. Think that's a massive point in the season for us. We've not had many injuries to cope with yet either so that will be a challenge for us at some point.
