3 games 7 days 240 mins Don't know how many tackles, carries, assists, kicks, metres etc but unbelievable. Ellis n Sneyd kind of rightly getting massive plaudits over this easter period but thought he deserved some praise as I think his own consistency and what we just expect off him hurts him in terms of getting the raps he deserves!

Looks better this year off the back of a pack which in general gets a quicker play the ball than we've had in previous seasons.

Speaking as a Red and White, I have never understood how you black and whites have ever questioned Danny Houghton as being a reliable and top class acting half-back (or dummy half to those who are more literally persuaded) .......Danny is the centre of your team ......You are lucky to have him ......Without him you would be just another average team fighting for survival!
2014/15 DH distribution and ability to make breaks was seriously affected by having to take the brunt of the workload for 80 mims game after game after game. As the season progressed he got more jaded and his effectiveness dwindled. That said, without him we would have been relegated in 2014. Washbrook has been taking some of the dummy half workload off his hands at least, not sure on what his tackling stats are but I wanted our better/bigger pack to take up some of this so he wasn't as jaded. So far he's being fantastic, I sure hope we don't let him flog himself and he goes off the boil

I've always liked Houghton for his work rate and commitment but I have criticised his distribution in the past as a key reason for our poor attack. This season we have seen a combination of forwards who are winning the floor and getting quick ptb's, and a reduction in his work load, and he looks a much better player for it.
That said he has made 95 tackles in 2 games. I'd certainly be looking at going back to Washy spelling him for 20 mins per game as was probably the original plan.
