According to the clubs stats yesterday was Kirk's 349th game for Hull FC putting him at no.18 on the all time appearances list and only 3 behind Clive Sullivan, 10 behind Mick Crane, and 15 behind both Arthur Keegan and WH (Harry) Taylor. So with his 350th likely on Friday hasn't got long to go to surpass two Hull legends.
Also his try against Warrington was his 170th pushing him further clear in third in the all time list in front of Bob Taylor on 164 - an incredible try scoring forward and Alf Francis on 166 both of whom he edged in front of in 2014.
Danny Houghton will soon be part of the 250 club and is 7 away.

Got to hand it to him this season coming back in and showing the form he has. If there was ever an advert for competition for places then this is it. I think he would have been better in the last 2-3 seasons if it didn't always seem that he was an automatic choice regardless of form.
Again - well done to him this year. Left centre is his shirt to lose now.

I agree, never let us down. Made a huge impact this weekend with his offload to Shaul on Friday and his quick pass to Naughton go the winner yesterday.
Kirk may not play every game this season, but being able to call upon him as we have shows we have more strength in depth this season and something we have missed on previous seasons.

He's making plenty of fans eat humble pie (including myself), hope he keeps up the good form.
I need a bloody great shovel to eat mine with. Let's face it, his little show and go against Rovers to feed Shaul ignited what's been a brilliant Easter. Feels like a new signing.
Tbh , Yeaman has never had any pressure put on his position in the past , Now with Fonua , Logan & Carlos vying for centre spots , He's got to step up and take his chance and I think he has done that .

Considering his career with Hull, I've thought some of the comments he's had in recent seasons have been a little harsh.
Firstly, the Coach picks the team and any player can only make themselves available for selection. As for being in the squad, (please correct me if I'm wrong) but isn't Yeaman off the salary cap, due to his 10+ years with Hull? If so, as this weekend had shown, it's been well worth retaining his services.

I believe some of his salary is off cap, but not all, unless he's earning less than 50k these days.
He still wouldn't make my first choice 17, but over Easter I think he proved a few people wrong (myself included) that doubted his value in the squad. When Pryce is fit, my centres would be Carlos and Fonua, but he's shown he can do a sound job when called upon.
