Shows up the Academy merger for the farce it is .
Rovers riding roughshod all over it and trying to score points against us !
Will Webster be back in charge when McNamara takes over at Rovers?

How is this scoring points at FC? Webster applied for the job and was appointed on his merits, it has nothing to do with FC, he has the job on the promise he is staying on as mcnamaras assistant.

I'm sure there'll be decent applicants for the academy job, I know you'll find this hard to believe but not everything in the world is a pop at FC

I'm sure I know you'll find this hard to believe but not everything in the world is a pop at FC

Peacock's already said Netherton's stepping up.

Is that long term though? Even if he is any appointment has to be ratified by both clubs

Not all that it seemed. Peacock claimed Netherton was "stepping up" and the academy was "safe in his hands". What's actually happened is Netherton remains an assistant whilst Danny Wilson, academy director and formerly Hull FC head of youth, who's been around our club at least 6 years including a role as community representative, is taking over as head coach on an interim basis. Also involved are Nathan Freer, Rob Wilson and Steve Crooks. Feels much better than the picture Peacock was trying to paint on Friday.
