He's seems to have sorted out an unbalanced and (for some players) overpaid squad.
People have lauded the appointment of Peacock across at the dark side, but I don't think many could have done the job that Motu seems to be doing. He was left a whole host of problems to sort out.
He's done it in a quiet and professional way as well
His contacts must be second to none to get the players in that he has.
We still have a way to go, but I think the hard work and tough decisions over the last couple of years will hopefully bear fruit.
Good post and great point.
Taken two years to sort out the McRae mess. Would McRae have brought these players here and kept under the cap? The mantra then seemed to be "You've got the get people to want to come to Hull - it's not Wigan or Saints" then big money seemingly paid for lesser players. Ellis obviously being the exception that proved the rule.
Motu doesn't seem to have that problem. Neither, of course, did Bunting when he first brought the Kiwis and Sterling. Great appointment from Adam - just wish it had been two years earlier.
