If the rumours are correct is he ready to step up to the mark? People who have watched him regularly what do you think? What are his strengths and weaknesses?

Iv never seen him play, but iv talked to people who have and say he's very talented ball player and doesn't shirk a tackle. But I really hope this is just a silly rumour as it doesn't add up. Squad announced yesterday and the pic of his boots in time for Sunday I believe was posted yesterday so no signs at all of him been injured. This could be the year for snyed and I am looking forward to seeing him play behind that pack. This would be devestating news for all if true. Fingers and toes crossed

Dean is a quality player. Certainly the stand out in the u19's games I saw last year. Pretty quick and great support play. He's too young to step up at SL level other than as a fill in player though. Will benefit from a loan spell or the u23's

Given the right protection, and behind our monster pack, which on paper looks really really strong, i think he can do a decent job, hes mature for his years, got a cool head, great kicking game, and takes the ball to the line. I think if he starts tomorrow, we'll soon see if hes ready or not. We've always got abdul if hes not

I rate him and think he has a good future in the game but it's unlikely a young kid will go straight from u19's to the SL in such a pivotal position
