Zak was the best prospect this side of the Pennines when he was at Fev. It wasn't exactly a secret. Every club in the league would have been interested in him, and wouldn't have needed Kath H to rip them off. Leeds paid a big transfer fee to get him, and presumably offered him the best chance for development too. Looks like he made a good choice.

This forums Jimmy Milner was the Fev reserves coach at the time that Hardaker arrived there. He was 16 at the time i think. Before he turned pro, Jimmy alerted Rovers (and i think Hull) to his talent and availability. They did nothing.... Plenty of examples of these mistskes over the decades. I remember Darrell Powell trialing for Rovers A in the 80s. If we had signed him then we could have had an international class back and during the 80 and 90s and the best coach in the league now!

Is this thread for real???? I can't believe the level of conspiracy theory on here, it's quite frankly embarrassing. Zak chose Leeds over us, big deal it happened. I think most talented youngsters would choose a larger more successful club over us. This anti Hull agenda some make up is a joke.
