I'm getting to exited and my expectations are getting a bit unrealistic. Realistically what do you think is a successful season? I think anything in the top 5 and a semi final in the cc is a very successful year.
6th or above would be successful IMO. I expect us to be 7th or 8th though. Will be tough to finish above any of leeds, wigan, saints, wire, cas or hudds. We also need to be more competitive against leeds and wigan than the last 2 seasons

As long as we're in the top 8 at the split within realistic reach of the top 4, then I'll be pleased. Anything after that is a bonus, but a cup run and a semi final would be a great year and something to really build on.

I think two players in this team lift us massively - Ellis and Pritchard. If we can keep these two fit we have a chance to do something very good as they are our talismen - Pritchard especially will lift this team just by them knowing hes in the side, you aint gonna play like a bag of poop with him staring at you!
Its all about the backs though, will Logan step up as he needs too after a good debue season, are Fonua and Tuimavave good enough for SL - not all players can make the change week in week out
Then theres the coach - it would seem hes learned a lot, he actually now sounds more professional. Lets hope hes now finished his training and is now the almost finished article.
In summary if things go right we could be top four even top two at the split, after that things get harder but we have to finish in the four to get in the play offs
Alternatively if things go wrong, Radford hasnt learned anything and the player gambles dont pay off then its 7-8th and no play offs again and then we'll need a new coach

I would like to think 5th but that would mean finishing ahead of hudds and cas which could be tricky. So yeah, 5th or 6th would be around right I think and get to the semis of the cup. Warrington are my tip for the title.

I do think the league is tough with this split playing the top teams week in week out for the last 8 or so games in a tough examination of your squad, I do think we have a deep enough squad to complete this year last year we had to shove a lot of kids in at the business end which killed us off although giving them some great experience, I think 6th maybe 5th would be a great finish this year within touching distance of the top 4 to give it a real shot with a bigger more experienced squad the Challenge cup is always something I say a little prey about every year this been no exception

you can't really predict what will happen in the cup as its luck of the draw. we might get wigan away or hunslet at home. i look upon the cup as a bonus, if we do well then great. the league is more of a true test play every team home and away (mw as well). i think 5th will be good, any higher would be outstanding. going to be a funny season i feel - lots of teams seem to be at a similar level taking points off each other with no real breakaway leaders. might only be a couple of wins between 3rd and say 6th

cas achieved a high finish a couple of seasons ago when nobody really expected it before the season started
