Completely agree about Houghton and I've thought it for a while. Yes, he can tackle. But in attack, he is the first man to touch the ball and it's often slow or inaccurate which means a forward gets pummelled or a half back has less time to make a decision.

We desperately need a new hooker IMO. Houghton is not going to get us to the top. I think it's very similar to when Leeds had Diskin. They brought in Budeaux and relegated Diskin. Ultimately, a lot of success followed. (Not saying for that reason alone, but certainly a part of it.)

'5 things' is lazy journalism and no better than what's on offer from the HDM.
