I saw a pic on hulls Instagram today and noticed Ellis minus a cast/protective boot. Which to be honest I found astounding. Later had a message from some 1 well in at the club and he said Ellis is already back training with the team. Obviously he won't be doing much yet but I expected it be 3 months immobility at least. Apparently looking good for start of the season which is miraculous I'd say. It's a 6 to 9 month injury for a youngster never mind Ellis s age with his milage! What a pro. What a warrior!

Compared to today, we'd have Taylor, Ellis, Pritchard and Sika Manu in for Paea, Bowden, Fash and Downs. We do need Ellis for the front row IMO.

Still hell of an effort to be at the stage he is now In the real world without the facilities n physio these lads have it can be 2 yrs to normality. But to be up and mobile in what 6 weeks? Is tremendous. He'll be fantastic in the front row in my opinion with more game spelling

Great news. For me he is undoubtedly our best player. There won't be many better packs in the league next season if any.
