Fans of all clubs are guilty of dialling down the qualities of their best outgoing players to temper disappointment of them leaving. We all do it. Not so the Bulldogs supporters when asked what sort of player Hull FC would be getting:

"If mini is player of season the tank will be player of the decade"
"Be excited very excited based on current form he will crush kill and destroy"
"Feed him, sing songs with him and shout out YEAHTHEBOYS and he'll be the greatest backrower Hull FC have ever had."

They're running a "Thank the Tank" campaign too to recognise his efforts and wish him well.

If we can keep him fit and firing it sounds like he'll be one of the most exciting signings of recent years.

I'm excited. As our only support player I reckon Shaul must already be favorite for top try scorer next year.

Sounds like we need a good song though.

Fonua playing outside him should pick up a few.

I said that i wouldn't get a pass next year mainly because of the relocation of away fans but i'm liking the recruitment for next year and thinking of getting one now tbh, great comments on Frank and hopefully he can deliver next year

Like a few on here been watching Frank this season in the Dogs' NRL games on Premier. Massive guy with a superb ball playing game that his left side outside backs must love playing around. Not a grafter but a flair player. It's a shame we couldn't get him 6 or 7 years ago but although he always plays with his knee heavily strapped he also regularly plays 80 mins. I reckon Radford will interchange him a bit more than Dessie does but when he's on I'm sure he'll attract a lot of defenders and with the passing game that he has we ought to be scoring plenty off him next season. Got 8 tries himself this year for Canterbury which isn't too shabby either.

Think I'll stick to pay as I go, got an horrible feeling, we might be just as bad but with better players, going to see how it goes. Very excited by the signings, but I honestly cant do another season like the last 2! Completely killed my passion and enthusiasm

Fonua is actually down for the left centre spot. Chatting with a coach the other week.
