RADFORD NAMES TWO CHANGES FOR WIGAN VISIT

Hull FC head coach Lee Radford has made two changes to his 19-man squad for the Black and Whites’ Super League game against Wigan Warriors on Thursday night.

The Airlie Birds will be without captain Gareth Ellis and half-back Leon Pryce for the last game of the regular season, who both picked up injuries in last week’s derby victory over Hull Kingston Rovers.

Mickey Paea returns from suspension for Hull, whilst Jamie Shaul is also included in the squad.

Front-rower Paea comes back into contention following a two match ban for a tackle in the away fixture against Wakefield Wildcats earlier this month.

HULL FC: Abdull, Bowden, Fash, Green, Hadley, Houghton, Lineham, Logan, Michaels, Minichiello, Paea, Rankin, Shaul, Sneyd, Talanoa, Thompson, Watts, Westerman, Whiting.

WIGAN: Bateman, Bowen, Burgess, Charnley, Clubb, Crosby, Flower, Gelling, Hampshire, McIlorum, Mossop, O’Loughlin, Powell, Smith, Sutton, Tautai, J Tomkins, Williams.

Id go with that, but I'd start Abdull and have Rankin on the bench.

I personally think it will more likely be Abdull in the halves after his performance against Rovers and Rankin keeping his FB position with Hadley or Fash getting a bench spot.

Can't see why we'd want to change things. Abdull did a good job and deserves to keep the spot.

There is no reason to move Rankin who is in great form just to accommodate Shaul. Also Rankin is nowhere near as effective at half back as he is at full back.

It's what is best for the team and feel we are stronger with Shaul, rankin and Sneyd compared to Rankin, Abdul and Sneyd. People are forgetting each time rankin has played at half, he has had too much responsibility as he hadn't played with an organiser like Sneyd. Abdul has been great off the bench so I'd keep him there.

I reckon Radford will play Abdul at 6 though.
