Finally an entertaining game at home, with the players showing passion and commitment and something different than 'one man up the middle' yes there were still errors (mainly in the first half) but if most games where as interesting to watch as that it'd shut moaners like myself up and the missing thousands would return to the KC.
Some great efforts from the team today given that it was a makeshift pack, and I think some of the younger/fringe players showed something different and more pace and should keep their places ahead of the likes of Yeaman, Sa & Feka who've had indifferent seasons.
Also finally while Friday night games suit me better, you can't beat a Sunday afternoon game on a sunny summer afternoon, and there was a much bigger following from Cas and a better atmosphere as a result. Maybe time for the club to consider a mixture of game days again? particularly for games against the clubs who regularly bring a decent following over.

Last week we scored some really top drawer tries totally the opposite to "one man up the middle". The errors were there which encouraged Wakefield to stay in the game. Obviously they were there again today. But the tries last week were totally the opposite to what you describe.

I was away for last weeks game, so can't comment on that. My comment was based on what I've seen at the other home games this year.
Great performance in that 2nd half. Add in at least 4 more times we were over their line only to be held up or have the try disallowed and it probably better reflects the game. whiting and watts were excellent and chris green probably had his best game I've seen him play for us

I agree we need to work on the errors, but i'd rather see some of the young kids make mistakes and learn from them so that they are ready for next season and the future, than see some of the old has-beens trot out the same slow-paced displays. Our backline for example had a few scary moments in defence, but they caused Cas more of a threat in attack than we have most weeks this season.

According to Radford the try he disallowed was a try, the one he gave for Lineham was a knock on and Cas clearly knocked on for their last try. Cobb none from three.

Time for the league to invest in video ref's at every game, even if they don't have a big screen and just relay the try or no try decision to the ref. Also more cameras at every game would make better footage for the SL Show, SKY Sports News & Youtube etc
