Congratulations to Lee Radford, the rest of the coaching team, support staff and the players for achietheving the first objective of the season, a place in the top 8 and next years Super League.
What I'd like to see now is that we take confidence from the performance at Rovers, largely without Ellis and Pryce, and make a real go of the Super 8s.
I don't expect us to make the top 4, but we've shown we can compete and our youngsters are good enough to do so. I don't care if we lose 80% of our games in the Super 8s, just as long as we show the spirit and commitment we did tonight.
The nightmare scenario is the players focus on the loss of Ellis and Pryce and we succumb to the "well what else could be expected" syndrome.
Therefore I propose no-one on the board posts about the losses we've sustained, but instead on the opportunity ahead of us.
Lets see the lads give it everything and get behind them in the Super 8s.

We have no real expectation on us now, it's something of a free pass. Keep guys like Abdull and Logan in the team and let's try to play positively and take the game to teams.
I am hoping Catalans beat Hudds this week to keep it nice and tight. It would also be a big boost if Wakefield could turn Cas over but I won't hold my breath. Cas and Warrington also play each other next week and Catalans are away at Leeds. If we could get a win against Wigan we would be in the mix. Realistically I think we need to win 6 of 8 to have a chance, and we will have to beat Warrington, Cas and Huddersfield. It's all a pretty tall order, but at least we've bought a ticket.

Course it's gonna be tough, but I see a battle royal about to start between 5 clubs for 1 top 4 spot! We haven't been particularly fluid or decisive in the last 3 games but we have come away with 6 points none the less.
Huddersfield go to Catalan tomorrow, Castleford have a Derby game and a visit of Warrington to finish with and Catalan finish at Leeds. The league table after 23 games could be very, very tight.
We have nothing to be scared of and could possibly still nick that 4th spot.
