A few tiny options. Either between the Widnes and Catalans away games (biggest space between games, but means it could hurt our prep for the trip to France); or a week later between Dragons and Leeds (again, two big games); with the final option being between the quarters and the Wakey game (meaning playing them back to back).

No other logical time after that. Short turn around running to to the Cas home game, don't want to be tired for the derby, and short turn around for the Wigan game.

They didn't really think about this when planning the fixtures did they!

The sensible option. Which means it won't happen.

We have the same problem with our home game v Salford. I fully expect us to be forced to play it 3 days after the QF's when Salford have had their feet up all weekend.

The sensible time would have been when the Club asked for it to be played. When the World club challenge was played.
But when has Rugby League ever been sensible?

Oh I agree, but what's done is done now.

Playing it straight after the QF may give Wakefield an advantage if they get knocked out by Leigh tomorrow.

Does the second stage of the season start the weekend after the semi finals?

27-28 June: Challenge Cup quarter-finals
23 Jul Wigan at Home (last game)
1-2 August: Challenge Cup semi-finals
8-9 August: Super 8s begin (at least 4 teams will have had an extra weeks rest.)

So no free weekend whatever the results.

wakey getting some players back so these games may not be as easy as we think
