Thought he really stepped up to the plate in Paea's absence last night. 20 carries and 45 tackles in his 70 minutes on the field is a massive effort. Just wish we had players who would back him up. Plenty of times last night he got his hands free and was looking around for support but none there although he did 3 X more offloads than anyone else in the team.

If he could be consistently that good (or near to it) then he'd be one of the best props in the comp for me.

To be fair isn't that what props do near the line? Not his job to sidestep his marker and make a pass out wide cutting out 2 defenders?

The question of course is why does he find in himself in that situation so often - because we don't know what else to try?

Yes but it seems to be our prime attacking move. We do seem to have props and 2nd rowers receiving the ball at 1st receiver in the oppo 20 far too often

The way he was running in I thought he'd be done in 5 minutes so was glad to see he kept going.

He's been good for the last couple of games , Hope his form rubs off on the others .
