OK so i've gone with the original nominees (i intend to have joe oliver as a centre, should he be nominated in that position). please choose 1 candidate for the position of fullback in the team. I'm going to start the thread for wingers in a couple of days

I've gone for Prescott, partly because he's the only one I've seen live, but mainly because what he achieved off the field far outweighs what any of them achieved on the field, and imo being a club great shouldn't be limited to how someone performed on the field.

After much agonizing I went for Keegan over Kemble, the final decider being Keegan's longer time at Hull. Miller was way before my time and its going to be a problem in the votes for all the old time players - especially those from the first 30 years as they were playing a different game altogether.

with all these votes for positions, i'm proposing to leave them all running for the course of the whole team selection and post a sort of 'interactive' type of team where you can see how the team is taking shape, but of course as the votes will be still open the team could change. the other reason for leaving them open is that more people will be on the forum once the season starts and they can have a vote too. i'll occasionally bump up the votes if they slip too far down the forum
