If we have then it's another expensive waste of cash from the end of the Agar & Gentle/McRae era. McKinnon, McDonnell, Miller, Lynch (paid a transfer fee, extended his deal then let him go early), Jamie Ellis, Holdsworth, O'Carroll, Seymour, Johnson. Are all likely to have had some 'encouragement' to go. Hopefully the club has learnt lessons from the most wasteful period of our history.
seems to me that he had every right to expect the club to honour his deal and, from the outside, seems to have conducted himself very professionally. I thought his parting words were very even-handed.

He wasnt a bad player to take a gamble on, this issue always was the ridiculous salary and the length of the deal. He should have been given a 2 year deal maximum with clauses to extend in the clubs favour. Hopefully lessons have been learnt.
