Clive Sullivan - clearly the best. Other choice was Billy Stone - longer FC career than Ryan and Harrison and as a GB tourist he must have had quality. I saw O'Hara play throughout his FC career and though undoubtedly good and a great cover tackler there weren't too many wow moments which is odd for a winger. I was tempted to go for Harrison but though his war time heroics were truly inspirational they cut short his contribution to Hull and you can't vote on what might have been. Ryan didn't play enough games and Watts lack of representative honours suggests that he wasn't quite in the top bracket.

Sullivan & Watts for me.

Watts' appearance and try scoring record, along with his longevity at the club pips the others IMO. He lived in Willerby near my grandparents, and I remember them speaking about seeing 'Little Ivor Watts' out and about. I didn't realise at the time just how much he gave to FC.

Harrison & Stone for me, Harrison's scoring was second to no-one and Stone not only scored lots of tries (in an era where the ball was difficult to handle & pitches poor by comparison) but was a great defender and when playing centre a great passer. He outshines Watts by a considerable margin in that versus his contemporaries he was chosen for multiple rep honours (& leading tour try scorer) and Watts wasn't.

Sorry but Sullivan whilst the clubs top scorer didn't offer as much all round (IMO) and is a sheet of Bronco behind in third..
I knew the voting would only go one way though..

So captaining GB to the World Cup and being acknowledged as one of the finest defensive wingers of his time quite apart from his scoring feats don't offer much all round? I'm open to arguments as to who one of the wingers should be as they all have a case but only as a definite (& distant) second to Sullivan.

Im my honest opinion, colin best had the lot and was superb in his short time for fc, if he'd had stayed longer, he'd be on more peoples lists IMO.... top, top winger
