There is also a story about Hull opening negotiations with the SMC about formalising a new tenancy agreement to reduce the amount paid to the SMC in terms of gate receipts and the annual ground rent.
This will allow the club to reduce admission prices.

Gates were down massively and over estimated according to a lot of people (myself included). We paid a fee for Obst as well which will have added to the loss. Merchandise sales will also have been down so no major surprises for me.

It was bound to happen, really. Larger than expected though.
I'm confident that Pearson is the man to turn it round.

"Thinking the club is profitable is inaccurate." Oops.
I blame Sadofsky's.
Seriously, how fortunate are we to have Pearson running the club now, when we could still have had Kath and Agar. The article puts paid also to suggestions he's here for a quick buck.

If Kath was still here the figures would of been fiddled again to make them show a small profit.
Seriously though there was rumours about how bad things where at our club but it just amazes me that things where as bad as they actually where. Well run club - your kidding. FC was run like a total shambles and its only a massive amount of luck that we struggled through this far imo.

Looking at it again it isn't as bad as i first thought. If we are around 2000 per game down on previous seasons and we say an average of about £16 for tickets £16x2000x13 = £416,000 .
Obviously this year we have the big tax bill to pay but if we have a decent season then we can make a big dent in that bill to reduce losses for next season.
"I now understand clearly why the previous board were attempting to sell, and that is because they were going to have to put some money into it.
This sums it up for me. Thankfully Pearson snapped there hand off. He probably wishes he hadn't but the good thing is, he now has to make some form of a small fortune! Which will take investment! Bring it on.
