Was that our ex playing for Widnes?

Scored two cracking tries.

Will be interesting to watch him , Hall and Webster in the final.

Got rid cos even though he's is a decent player he was never gonna be a player who took us to the next level.

He played for Cas at SL level and didn't set the world on fire at that level.

To be honest the kid is better off away from Hull. He's confidence would be shot to pieces by us fans if he was playing for us now. He wouldn't have been an improvement on Tommy Lee or Washbrook or any of the other young players we have so no point in holding him back, seems like he's enjoying his rugby at Widnes though & good luck to him

Probably because he wasn't good enough for super league. Cas also got rid of him and didn't think he was good enough. He's probably found his level.

I can't believe we kept Tommy Lee over Thackeray. It was clear to see, that Thackeray had bags of potential and T.L had very little. Fair enough Lee has improved this season, but not to the extent that everyone makes out. He's a solid defender, he carries the ball fairly well and hes 'ok' from dummy half, however he is'nt in the same league as Houghton so he will never make that position his own. Thackeray on the other hand, has bags of attacking flair, he scores try's, he creates try's, he's fast, all attributes that make a quality halfback. But no, we (yet again) got rid of a young talent that will imo go very far in the game.

i heard he walked into the changing room at the KC and spat his dummy out at peter sharp because he wasn't being picked ahead of tommy lee. so peter sharp told him to sling his hook. i thought anthony thacks looked good at castleford.... he was playing alot better than tommy lee at the time anyway

He wasnt good enough for SL, that why two SL clubs have released him, just because he had one good game in the NL and scored a couple of trys doesnt mean he is good enough for SL.

Tommy Lee is a far better player than him.

Take a look at what league he's playing in.
