Firstly well done on Long. I would love to know if Agar said "i want him" or the board said "lets get him to keep the fans sweet"
Anyway, this year has seen record pass sales, and without a doubt Long will shift tickets further next year.
But would we all take a price increase next season? Personally no, i wanted these sort of signings when gate prices hit £21 a game in 2005.
So here's an idea for the club, it might boost season ticket sales, it would also say a massive thank you for the passholders this year sticking by the club.
As well as offering the passes cheaper before a certain date, why not offer CURRENT passholders more of a discount. And off the back of that, DO NOT put gate prices up.
I dont think they would need to increase prices as Long, and hopefully those that follow will put bums on seats!

not that its anything to do with this but the dobbins get £30 in tokens to spend in the shop if a new pass holder recommends you, good idea i suppose ( some blokes at work were gasping around new rovers blood so they could put the 30 quid towards their new shirts ha ha, even asking the club if they recommended 2 did they get 60 quids worth, ha ha tatters!) ... but i do agree that pass holders should get some kind of loyalty bonus.

Oh and do you have any great marketing ideas?
I have plenty of good business ideas, that don't involve reducing the clubs income from people who would buy a pass at full price (or during normal discount time) anyway.

Isnt the reward for passholders a net discount on your tickets throughout the season, this year you also had free challenge cup admission, plus priority in buying big game tickets,
If the wife said Hull FC or her. Would you miss her?

It is but if HKC wasn't moaning about admission prices and saying the club should offer this and that we'd think he was ill.
