Don't think we could afford any more under the salary cap even if we paid Byrne off. We'll only sign someone else if Crocker's visa application is rejected IMO, and even then there'll be at least a 6 week wait for the visa application, that's excluding the time it would take to open and conclude talks with an already-contracted player.

Don't think so, if we paid him off it comes off the cap so we would not have any more spare cash anyway, in reality all we can hope is that Cocker gets turned down, but then we have to find someone, and if its an Aussie the season will be over by he gets here anyway!!

i think after all this time Crocker will not get a visa, we need an end to the whole sorry situation now.

presumably we already have banked a substantial saving on Crockers salary ?

He will have been contracted from January & already missed 2 months of trhe season - that ought to be 25% of his salary, even assuming he is getting a modest retainer, surely won't be getting full pops for staying at home in Iz - will he ??
