as I said in the other thread the bench was wrong in hindsight
should have had Washbrook in instead of Moa or Lee (neither of whom played badly) last week we needed the forward power on the bench to match Bradford, this week we needed the extra pace and creativity.

here here, moa and lee played well but washy can break lines and has pace in abundence, lets see what happens against quins next week.

it wasn't the only reason, but I feel at the moment if a team closes Thorman and Berrigan down that is it for our creativity and attack. Washbrook gives another option.
Moa did well and made some good runs, but Thackary could have stayed on longer and done a similar job.

We need more minutes out of Moa to take some of the workload off Dowes & Yak

Its a 17 man game which we are handicaping ourselves by only having 16 players available for the full 80 and 1 who can only do 10. All credit to Agar for getting more time out of Manu and the props, but its negated by only having Moa for 10 minutes.
The pack were knackered imo after last weeks performance against the Bradford pack. They gave it their all last week and could not back it up when its was needed most.

I did wonder if that was a factor. Dowes and Yak have been getting through a mountain of work this season.
Hold on to me baby, his bony hands will do you no harm It said in the cards, we lost our souls to the Nameless One

how little Thackray was used had to be questioned tonight as well, next week we have to consider King or Maloney instead of Thackray/Moa who can play a for longer.
