Agar seemed to be suggesting a clean bill of health, so apart from the 17 last night we've got:
Maloney
King
Whiting
Washbrook
Hodgson
as options. Depending on their relative levels of fitness, I'd play Sam in the reserves next week, not because he's done anything wrong, but Cusack and Dowes are going to be shagged by Easter at this rate. Would put King in for Sam, and maybe Washy for Lee.

sam needs to be given more game time in my opinion,he was making yards last night and should be given at least ten mins of each half,i know its only his 3 game and maybe not fully match fit but at least it would of given cusack or dowes a bit more of a breather

I agree, King for Moa and Washbrook for Lee should see us look fresher and give us different options.

From last game, IMO the match hinged on the the quality, depth and ability of both sides bench ....we (Cas) shaded it with being able to call Westerman, Huby, Higgins and Nettherton ALL of them forwards, two of them relacement props and Westy who can alternate in the backs, against FC's bench of Moa, Lee, Berrigan (great player) and Thackery (how long was he on for???).
I also think Hull underestimated our ablity to not throw the towel as in2008 we at 18-12we would have been tonked by you.
We also made some laughable errors defending the North Stand End when we gifted two scores from kicks.........this is not the Cas of previous years and I'm certain a few other teams are going to come unstuck (East Hull/Land of the Dinosuars/ Sinners) if they also underestimate Cas 2009.
We await his second coming, Chuck Hardisty Mk.2

Once again we can hear the bells of doom ringing around west Hull!!
The coach is crap we need him out
The players are too slow , all crap, cant pass get rid !!
all the teams we beat were naff so were lucky to be third in SL!Ref was against us
Tommy Lee is to blame
BORING
Cmon guys if anyone had pre season said we would be third at this point in the season I would have laughed at them!
We had a poor night at the office, Cas play solid rugby and deserved the win but we will come back better for it in the long run !!
We are third because we deserve to be thrid and cas are where they are cos they deserve to be too!
Live with it, SL has more Parity in the teams this year and that means anyone can beat anyone

I wouldn't drop Moa he needs more game time. Didn't look that distressed when he came off thought he could have gone on longer. Time for a stint in each half now I reckon. He took the ball in well and attracted defenders - Horne scored directly after one of his runs due to defending bodies being sucked into the middle. Gets a very fast play the ball as well which was no mean feat last night. Pity he wasn't on for that last embarrassing set of 6. Play him don't drop him.
