Cusack/Dowes revelation. Thackery best game of the season. Tickle/Radford/Manu hungry and hurting them in defence. Berrigan majestic. Houghton dynamic. Same players from last season! What's happened and more importantly, long may it continue!

I thought Hull would struggle in the pack this year, but tonight they looked the part, I still think they are to come up against a solid, fully fit unit, but they can only play what's in front of them.

Berrigan is different class, and Houghton is the perfect replacement to rotate with. Second only in this league as a pairing to Cunningham and Roby.

I'M SURE THERE IS NO CORRELATION BETWEEN THE FACT THAT THE FRONT RUNNERS FOR THE 2009 MEDIA WHINGING AWARD ARE FROM GATESHEAD AND HULL FC, FORMERLY THE B*ST*RD-TWINS OF ONE OF RUGBY LEAGUE'S LOUSIER IDEAS.

The forwards have certainly answered the critics thus far.

Dowes and Cusack have been very strong going forward, Tickle has been international standard and Radders has been excellent too.

the full pack has been outstanding we just need the backs to get up to speed and we good cause some real damage to someone.

If Tickle carries on as he is he should be playing for England this year.
good luck to him.

Thought the whole pack, plus subs, were outstanding tonight. Can't wait for Lauaki and the other guy (can't remember his name) joins us, reckon we will have the best pack in the league then. :)

I agree they are a good partnership but when fit i think Buderus and Diskin will be phenomenal

I'm not so sure, Berrigan is on a level with Buderus and if I had a choice to sign Diskin or Houghton, then it wouldn't be Diskin coming.
