Due to unavoidable babysitting duties , well I am 14 now , I had to listen to radio for last night's game.
Humberside - Richo and Murdoch are well informed and have good analysis.
Gollum - my , my, my - what an idiot.
Firstly he said the minute's applause was for Arthur Keegan but no mention of Jim Drake. Then he talked all the way through the minute's applause.
Later he said Radford was a great player as 1 week he played well and the next he played ordinary.
Then when Tom Briscoe made that big break you would have thought he had done a 20 y scoot. As a listener you would have thought nothing much had happened as Gollum never changed the pitch of his voice. BLAND.
Then he spent the next 2-3 minutes slagging off Tom Briscoe for not passing to Horne.
Then I went to KCFM for some great biased commentary where the Doyle also told me where to get a gret local satellite from !
Soon he will be telling me where to get a local massage.
Disappointed with Gollum I have to say
Gwillym Lloyd is bad at his job; simple as. He is misinformed, has no real understanding of the game and attempts to court controversy as is the current trend with media personalities who lack in depth knowledge (Stevo). For some reason radio humberside stick with him and I think they actually believe that he is some kind of lovable rogue who listeners "love to hate".
murdoch is OK and well informed, however lee richie is the best pundit on local radio IMO. Very honest and with an excellent insight into the game. Totally unbiased in his assessments too. gwillym is a waste of space and knows nothing about the game. RH would do well to bin him and bring in someone with a greater knowledge of rugby who could add something worthwhile
Nice unbiased piece yesterday on KCFM from Rob Chadwick - 'The referee has given a penalty for a high shot, possibly by Mick Vella. But I didn't see it.'
Must have been the red'n'white blinkers you were wearing then - the co-commentator saw it
And now for those of you watching in black and white...this one is in technicolour.

Can't be as biased as former FC player and coach DDD
