Seems everyone's doing it. Puts last week's win into a bit of perspective for me. I know a lot of people were going OTT about our performance, which I though was gritty but lacked any real quality, plus was a game we could easily have lost had a couple of things gone against us at critical times. Here's hoping for an improved performance and a good win tomorrow

Totally agree! Pretty sure we'll have more than enough to win tomorrow night though. Despite all the 'Razzamattaz' that Celtic will have! C'mon!!

Probably a bit of truth in that, I said last week that our performance was encouraging but with plenty of room for improvement. I dont think anyone was getting too carried away, but it was nice to see us with a couple of half backs on the field (even though they still need to gel) and some sort of a kicking game. Defence was also pretty good I thought. So after a horrible season last year, I think we deserve to be slightly upbeat.

Wigan on the other hand appear to right up the creek without a paddle and Noble's job must be under real pressure. I know its probably not the only reason for their troubles, but letting Higham go and signing Riddel must be the strangest piece of business I have seen in Super League.

what pleased me most was our fitness levels last week compared with last season , some players who struggled through there 20 min stint last year looked like they could of played on all night and against a physical team like wigan thats got to be good news for the rest of this year ??

Very True!! Think this season, even though we have nowhere near the best squad in Super League, the determination and effort shown last Friday, will take us a long way! If we can stay relatively 'injury free', I reckon 'Top 6' is very realistic!!

who cares which teams have beaten wigan, its how we played on the night, and wigan played too, tonight wigan could have won if they had a goalkicker

An improved performance tomorrows is of course what we're all looking for, its about improvement week on week at this stage.

As for beating Wigan, well, they say you can only beat what's put in front of you. From Wigans perspective, they are probably finding it harder at home at the moment with the levels of expectation and the (reported) booing the get playing at the JJB. They're fans are booing when they are just a couple of scores down. That's going to incentivise any away team into thinking they've got a chance to win it and put extra pressure on their players (don't know if they are used to getting boos in the NRL) :D
