So why keep Griffin at centre if you agree we are short of pace?

To me, just seems players like to use the 'home sick' or 'not settling' as an excuse to get out of contracts. If you let one do it, the next player that signs , then here's that a 'bigger club's want him or just doesn't want to be at the club for whatever reason, they can use the same excuse.
That's the reason I'd say, dont let him just walk away. Lay down a example.

No speed, poor defence, improved his passing a bit but he will still end up in the second row. Probably cost us the game against Wigan Pushing a defender when it wasnt necessary leading to a disallowed try and then we all know what happened when great field position was given up when he ran twenty metres to provoke the Wigan player and give away a penalty. We all know what happened after that. He did the same thing against Wigan at Wembley running into Gildart when it wasnt necessary leading to a try by Fonua been ruled out for his obstruction. That would have put us in front with a comfortable lead but we had to battle for the win and could have lost that game near the end. You have your opinion on Griffin and thats fine but you only seem to see the metres he makes coming out of backfield. There is a lot more to being a top centre in S/L than that
