Bowden adds some size to the bench but on the field will be as ineffective as ever. No takers for his signature when the club offered him out so needs to put himself forward as its his last season with the club

Think BH will most likely bring Bowden back in to the 17 for his size but wonder who he'd replace, Brown possibly unless he goes with Fash, Brown, Bowden and Johnstone though he usually carries an outside back too that he rarely uses? Not sure what impact if any Bowden will have to be honest.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Personally, I'd play Fash at 13, Never misses a tackle, and never drops a ball Regarding Shaul, his passing is appalling, I think the person serving beer on the concourse, caught his attempted pass . The likes of Gentle, Radford and Hodgson should've improved this major weakness in his game.

We way we play i don't it matters who plays 13 out of the props, it looks like we have 5 props available this week, so two start, two on the bench at one at 13.
I'd probably go with Fash to because of the reasons you have stated and have Sao and Bowden on the bench with Satae and Brown starting.

He did do well when he came on, his time will come.
Understand your point Dave. For me personally I’d move Mac to full back & Connor with Reynolds. Mitch on the wing. Salford’s back line are fast so we need to counter their pace.
I’d go Connor, Swift, Carlos, Griffin, McIntosh, Reynolds, McNamara, Fash, Houghton, Satae, Sao, Lane, Lovodua and subs Bowden, Brown, Johnstone/Scott and Wynne Can’t make my mind up between Johnstone and Scott but would prefer Scott to spell second row. Griffin could also go to second row and put Wynne in the centre, that way Lovodua could spell Houghton. Under the circumstances I think Houghton will do the 80.

I'd rather have Mitch instead of Scott. Thought he was our best player against Saints in the limited time he was on.

Think the coach will move Connor into the halves and Griffin again will play second row. Have a feeling he will go with Shaul again at fullback. If he doesnt then McIntosh is our best option with Mitch on the wing with Carlos and Wynne at centre. If Shaul plays then i expect the bench to be Sao or Satae ,Bowden,Brown, and Mitch to get the nod in front of Scott for his defence and better pace.
