The ones criticising Connor, it was a high octane game, with lots of scrambled defence , very tense, Connor was bitten and Chris Hill has it in for him big time after previous encounters, so good on Connor for refusing to be bullied and offering abit of biff out

Tags solo suicide mission in the closing stages epitomised what our performance was all about. Radders taking the p!ss out of him in his post-match interview was also amusing.

Since it's not on TV and is unlikely to have any good close up shots I imagine it will be inconclusive.
We have seen a few instances lately where a player has been accused of biting and it's actually been the "bitten" player who was in the wrong. I'm thinking of the Miloudi incident, McGillivray at the world cup, and I think there was another this season but I can't remember who. But since Jake had the ball at the time I can't see how it could have been one of those situations. If he had a bite mark then he was bitten, and would the ref have put it on report if there was nothing there?
I know this is Jake Connor we are talking about, but he has never claimed anything like that before.

Also, it's very important that we keep Westerman imo. Such an important player.
It depends on how much they both want, which nobody know, you could make an argument for both of those plus Paea, but we need to get value for money and we need to freshen up the side.

Of the 3, Westerman is the one we need to keep. Makes a huge difference having a big ball carrier who has good hands and can play at the line. Those players are difficult to find in the modern game. It's alright saying Kelly or whoever can play there as an extra pivot but it's just not the same. You need that big lump of a guy to keep the defence honest. They have to number up and that's what makes the space. And I haven't even mentioned his work rate and defensive quality.
Hadley, regardless of how he played yesterday, is still a squad player imo. If he is happy with what we are offering and wants to stay and fight for a place, then I am happy for him to stay. But if he gets a better offer at Wakefield or Rovers then we shouldn't be getting into a fight to keep him. He isn't integral to the side and you can't keep everyone.
Paea is an enigma. Sometimes he looks almost unstoppable. Other times I reckon I could run harder. If he could find his best form more often then he is absolutely worth keeping. But he is inconsistent. I aren't against him staying as such. It depends on what business we have already done and what is out there.
I have to keep going and looking at the result, still cannot believe it.
Well done Radders and the whole team, after the Cas game I was most pleased with the defence we showed and again at Warrie we seem to have that desire back which saw us win 2 back to back cups.

Westerman has been good, but it's rumoured he wants huge pay rise which could stop us signing other players. There are a lot more important players in our side and if wants to be on par with them, it's time to say goodbye.
I'd keep him for the right price and Hadley, time for Paea to go IMO, I think another season would be one too many.
