You are entitled to an opinion of course, but so am I. We are not safe in the Top 8, have lost Watts and possibly Kelly, Manu, Fash, Abdull long term. An attitude of arrogance and entitlement to safety is not appropriate IMO. That's an opinion. Fortunately you don't have the censure of these boards to stifle relevant debate.

Seriously I'm having a lovely day. Girl's home from uni, we've all just had a fab takeaway and I'm going to make Cosmopolitans in a bit. The Letchworth chap trying to stifle debate though presenting opinion as fact and demanding alternative opinions are locked is just standard operating procedure from him.

Was similar when Abdull booted the ball out on the full Thorman style. But apparently he'd fractured his collarbone as well, so feel bad about that now.

My tv controls had been slung across the living room well before then.

We are currently still 5th, if Leeds win we'll be 6th, to be in the bottom 4 Widnes, Hull KR, Catalans and Hudds would all need to win 3 or 4 games more than we do over the same period AND improve their points difference. Either you're a desperately depressive doom and gloom merchant or have no grasp as to how much the bottom 4 teams have to catch up and overhaul us nor how the points system works, frankly I think it's both. We will not be outside the top 8, the thread should be locked.
How about it gets locked once we are certain to be in the top eight? It's very likely to happen but not yet confirmed so until then why can't it be discussed? It'd be like locking a match thread before a game ends.

We probably need to win at least twelve from seventeen to make the top four.
The reverse looks to be the case in terms of the bottom four this year. Halfway through the main season, give or take, and us, Widnes, Hudds and Catalans are on target for about 10 to 14 points over 23 rounds.
One of us might enjoy a significant upturn in form and results. But I can’t see Hudds winning more than 7 of their remaining 10 and while Catalans might grow in confidence now, even tonight they were scratchy against a below par Hull. I’m not sure we and Widnes have the power and quality to get a meaningful number of wins against the better teams. Hopefully Rovers will start proving me wrong tomorrow, but Widnes building up a decent lead over 40 minutes yesterday and then losing it in 5 was a the sort of thing we’ve grown used to on those occasions we raise our game to avoid a humping vs Wigan et al.

Well yes. But even then it should be an O/T one in that scenario with things like the appetite to promote Toronto to discuss.
